Meetings

We hold branch meetings on the second Thursday of each month from around 8pm. These are usually held in The Railway pub, which is on Wellington Road South (the A6) on the Manchester side of Stockport, opposite George's Rd (which has Decathlon and B&Q on it) as shown on the map below, or Google maps.

According to OUSA guidelines, we agree an agenda beforehand where all topics to be discussed are set out (apart from Any Other Business, of course), and stick to it. Reality, of course, is another thing entirely. Except for the AGM, our meetings tend to be informal, covering branch business in amongst discussions of people's current OU work and more general conversation. We fairly often organise activities which tend to fall into the latter half of the month, but failing that there's normally an entirely social meeting on the last Thursday of the month, too.
